Windows 10: 3 Weeks Later, Have you Upgraded?

By now most people should have got their notice to upgrade to Windows 10 and it seems most people aren’t waiting.  It’s been almost 3 weeks since the official July 29th launch date of Windows 10, here at 2 Guys Tech all of the PCs have been upgraded that were on the upgrade schedule.  I say that because I do have one Windows 7 PC that will be staying like that, Windows 7 is still a solid operating system and the PC has a specific function that doesn’t need Windows 10.

So how about you, have you done the upgrade?  From the looks of social media we’re seeing a lot of people that have and they all seem to be enjoying it.  There doesn’t seem to be many issues upgrading either and most people with issues are having them on older machines that may have not had Bios updates or even any Windows updates prior to upgrading.

Upgrading is only have of Windows 10 though, actually it’s probably much less than half.  There is much more than meets the eye with Windows 10 that most of the people that upgrade probably don’t even know about.  There is OneDrive, the new Photos App, Groove Music, the new Store, Xbox integration, Cortana and much more!

Although long overdue my new webcam arrived yesterday, the Logitech c920 and with that I’ll be planning to produce some Windows 10 “instructional” videos in the upcoming weeks.  Matter of fact I’m hoping to have that first one up next week.

If you’re having trouble with Windows 10 or want to learn a little more, follow the 2 Guys Tech Blog or our Facebook page and of course if you have questions you can post them in the comments on either site and I’ll address them in the upcoming weeks!
